The new ix45 begun testing a while back now, and it’s finally getting ready to debut later this year. But the replacement for the Santa Fe is a really important car to get right, and that’s why they’re taking so long to develop it.
The vehicle you see here is undergoing winter testing in Northern Europe, as the final touches are put on the car that’s going to debut at the 2012 New York Auto Show in April. The styling will be much more dramatic than the bland crossover on the road today. Elements will be borrowed from the Veloster and the facelifted Genesis Coupe. The Grille will have three large chrome bars and the lights will elongated towards the A-pullar.
