Images of the redesigned 2013 Hyundai Santa Fe were released this week on several Korean Web sites, including the automaker's own blog, ahead of the car's public debut next week at the 2012 New York Auto Show.

The 2013 Santa Fe, which goes on sale later this year in the U.S., has been extensively redesigned inside and out. The exterior styling appears to have been inspired by that of the smaller Tucson crossover.

The images reveal three rows of seats for the Korean domestic market, a more sculpted instrument panel and a premium two-tone leather treatment with wood and metallic trim.

The home-market Santa Fe will offer such features as a lane-departure warning system, smart parking assist and a BlueLink infotainment system.

A 2.0-liter four-cylinder turbodiesel engine will be available in Korea, but probably not in the U.S.
